Choices -

The problem with organized soccer in the Central Virginia (Fredericksburg) area is you have limited choices. If you stay locally, then you may have to deal with club politics, management issues, organizational issues, limited or general lack of vision or the worse of all EGOS....

Often you pay a lot of money per season to have your child fill a spot on a roster, with little to no hope of learning key skills to take them to the next level, let alone to a starting position on his/her current team or perhaps the one above it, which leads to disappointed and frustrated players and parents!

So what are you left with? Perhaps you ping pong between local clubs trading one unacceptable issue for another, or a trip on 95 to a club in Northern Virginia or down to Richmond eating up time and miles.

Well, we are happy to announce that you have another choice.....AFC!

Who are we -

We are a group of parents, just like you, from the area who got tried of the limited choices and the unacceptable compromises which effected our children and their love for soccer.

We decided that if we focused on what really mattered, the players, that we could make a club that was a PLAYER-CENTRIC development experience for select soccer players. AFC enables committed soccer players to achieve their fullest potential and compete at the high school, college level and beyond by developing players through small sided game play and training to include Futsal, while transitioning to tactical training and competition.

This is the reason why we started AFC, and we hope you will give us an opportunity to welcome you all into our family!!!
